I watched 2012 Yugantham on iBOMMA out of curiosity about how Telugu cinema would handle a global doomsday scenario. Unfortunately, this film is a classic example of a promising concept ruined by poor execution.

The movie tries to blend the Mayan calendar prophecy (2012) with Telugu nativity. The first half is painfully slow, filled with unnecessary romantic tracks and comedy that feels dated. By the time the "disasters" hit, you’re already struggling to stay awake.
