The final three contestants— (28, a relentless marathon runner and former paramedic from Oregon), Devon (35, a stoic ex-poker pro from Chicago), and Elena (42, a widowed mother of three and a steel factory manager from Ohio)—are brought to the podiums. Each has a chest filled with tokens they earned throughout the season: tokens representing alliances, sacrifices, and betrayals.

The Hunters have 12 hours to find and eliminate the Prey on this 10-square-mile island. If the Prey survives until sunrise, they win the $5 million. If a Hunter eliminates the Prey, that Hunter wins."
