Unless you're a die-hard fan of shallow, unoriginal romantic comedies, there's little reason to watch "The Love Machine." Even then, you might find yourself checking your phone halfway through.

Perhaps the biggest disappointment is the wasted potential. I must admit, I went into "The Love Machine" with fairly low expectations, and unfortunately, the film did little to surprise me. This unrated, presumably "edgy" take on modern dating feels more like a lazy, formulaic attempt at capturing the attention of a younger audience. The plot, if you can call it that,

The dialogue feels forced, with characters spouting off clichéd one-liners that are meant to be humorous but fall flat. The chemistry between the leads is nonexistent, making their romance feel like a chore to watch.
