Throwback Thursday: Why this “transition year” title remains a nightmare to emulate—and why you might want to hunt it down anyway.

FIFA 07 on 360 remains a fascinating failure—a game caught between two console generations. If you grew up in the mid-2000s, FIFA 07 holds a strange, bittersweet place in your memory. It was the last game before the FIFA Street crossover explosion and the first to truly feel “next-gen” on the Xbox 360… sort of.
