My disc is failing to boot on a standard Japanese PS2 (SCPH-50000). It gets past the "PlayStation 2" logo, then hangs on a black screen. No DNAS error, no red screen—just a hard freeze. I’ve tried both OPL (over SMB) and burning a fresh copy onto Verbatim media. Same result.
