Make sure you are downloading the actual "Fix" version from the GameJolt page (look for the one with the blue thumbnail). The raw, unpatched Alpha 1 is broken. This one works.

It is brutally short (one key, one door, one ending), but the replayability comes from the sandbox. You can break the game in hilarious ways—stacking boxes to the moon, jumping out of the second-floor window, or luring the Neighbor into the bear trap. It’s janky, but it’s fun jank. Huge thanks to the community member who uploaded the fixed executable. The original Alpha 1 had a major bug where the Neighbor would get stuck in the air or ignore you. This Fix restores his behavior to how it was shown in the very first reveal trailer. He actually picks up objects to block your path and checks under beds now. It runs smoothly on Windows 10/11 without crashes (just remember to run as admin).
