If you’ve been scrolling through the underbelly of the internet—specifically the legendary (and legally questionable) alleyways of Filmyzilla —you’ve likely seen the thumbnail. A couple locked in a rain-soaked embrace, intense eyes, and the words: Ishq Junoon .

Ishq Junoon doesn’t try to be Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge . It’s darker. Grittier. Think Ek Villain meets the raw streets of Pune or Delhi. The story follows Raghav (played by newcomer Ahaan Shergill), a mechanic with anger issues, and Zara (Mona Lisa Khanna), a classical dancer trapped in a family honor trap. The "Junoon" (obsession) kicks in when Raghav sees her at a temple fair. Within fifteen minutes, stalking turns into "fate," and fate turns into a body count.
