Originally a PS3/Xbox 360 gem, this PC version strips away the hardware limitations and lets CyberConnect2’s signature anime-magic breathe in glorious, high-definition fluidity.
Out of the box, the cel-shaded art style looks timeless. On PC, you’re not stuck at 720p. Crank the resolution to 4K, force 16x anti-aliasing through your GPU control panel, and it looks like you’re controlling the actual anime. The particle effects on a Rasenshuriken or a Kirin have never been this crisp.
It’s not perfect. The PC port lacks 60fps support for gameplay (it's locked at 30fps to preserve physics – break that lock and your substitutions break). However, the "Storm 2 FPS Unlocker" mod exists, but use it only for single-player; online, it desyncs.
