It is grindy. It is repetitive. It is utterly addictive on a Steam Deck or a modded Xbox 360. Gameplay: B+. It’s clunky compared to WWE 2K24 , but the grapple system is tight, and the "XX" (Double X) power moves are satisfying. Visuals: A-. For an early 360 title, the skin shaders and hair physics are still impressive. Cringe Factor: A+. But beneath the jiggle physics and the campy dialogue lies a wrestling engine built on the bones of Smackdown! vs. RAW .
This is a roguelite career mode before roguelite was a buzzword. You pick a partner, then fight through a ladder of tag teams. Win, and you steal a piece of your opponent’s wardrobe. Lose, and they steal yours. The goal? Strip every wrestler of their gear to unlock secret costumes.
