Scooby: Doo John Persons

John Person was a solid, unspectacular background artist whose work defined the look of 1970s Scooby-Doo ’s spooky environments. He won’t be mentioned in documentaries, but without him, the gang would be running through blank hallways. If you love the feel of classic Scooby — the creaky doors, the endless hallways, the foggy cemeteries — you owe a small nod to John Person.
