A simple window appeared with a few dropdowns and sliders. Pete (Alex’s imagination) popped up like a tooltip.

He launched the game. The screen flickered… then a small red error box appeared: Alex groaned. “Not complete? What does that even mean?”

He launched Chrono Cross again. The intro music swelled perfectly.

“Wait — that was it?” Alex said.

He clicked → Audio → SSSPSX Audio Plugin → Configure .

“Leave it at 64 or 128 for most games. Too low? Crackles. Too high? Lag. You’re fine there.”

Alex clicked the checkbox. The grayed-out options lit up.
