A major corruption case lands on her desk: a powerful mining lobby, led by her own uncle, has been illegally extracting resources, leading to a deadly collapse that killed dozens of workers. The case is assigned to the special prosecutor—Satyendra Mishra.

The wedding is a lavish, traditional affair. Sattu is the happiest man alive. The jaimala (garland exchange), the phera (sacred rounds), the sindoor (vermilion)—all done.
