The Windows XP NES bootleg is not a good operating system , but it’s a great art piece . It asks: What if the most ubiquitous desktop of the 2000s was reimagined by someone who only saw screenshots and had 64KB of ROM to work with? The answer is adorable, broken, and weirdly nostalgic.
